COME TO ME and I will give you peace. These words of Jesus invite all who are sick or suffering to turn to Him in need. Please join us for our monthly Mass of Anointing of the Sick if you are planning a hospital stay or have been troubled by sickness recently. Take this opportunity of prayer to receive the grace and strength of this sacrament of healing.
The Spirituality Committee and the Social Justice Ministry are presenting a special event on Thursday, June 14th from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the rectory basement. We'll show the 20-minute Academy award-nominated documentary, 4.1 Miles, about a Greek coast guard captain who rescued hundreds of refugees in the Aegean Sea. It will be followed by a short talk by Sister Eileen McCann, a retired immigration lawyer, about the Catholic teaching on refugees as well as what we can do to help the current crisis in immigration.
