CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD SUMMER BREAK

After next Sunday, our Children's Liturgy of the Word program at the 9:30 Mass on Sundays will take a break until September. We give special thanks to our dedicated committee members who provide this wonderful opportunity for our children: Eva Franczak, Kathleen Gallagher, Regina Hawkey, Maryanne Mazzola, Maria McGrath, Ellen Shea, Mary Thaman and Jane Tully. May God bless each of you for your loving service to the children of our parish.

A WAY TO DEEPEN YOUR EXPERIENCE OF JESUS
Lent begins on March 6th. Parish sign-ups for this year's Lenten program begin February 9-10, Giving parishioners an opportunity for a unique and powerful experience. We are inviting parishioners (and their friends and neighbors) to sign up and join others once a week for six weeks. During these six weeks, you will be involved in a process of sharing, learning, and prayer that will help you deepen your Catholic faith, and your sense of connection to Jesus and his people.

WINTER COAT COLLECTION

Every year, our city's homeless men and women need winter coats. We will be collecting coats in the church vestibule through December 30th. If you have a GENTLY USED coat, please consider donating it. If you are unable to do so, a simple way to keep our neighbors warm is to grab your phone, text COAT to 41444. $20.00 buys someone a new coat!

COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE

If you are looking for another opportunity to help our most vulnerable neighbors this holiday season, here are two quick and simple ways to do so: Go to the Coalition for the Homeless Holiday Toy Drive website and click on the link to their Amazon Wish List. Follow directions and send a toy to one of the 23,000 children who will be spending the holidays in a homeless shelter this year. Info to send monetary donation is on the Toy Drive page as well. The last day for donations is December 14th.
