On November 21st, parishioners gathered in the rectory to make sandwich bags and cards for the hungry of our community for Thanksgiving. Thanks to the donations, time and efforts of our volunteers, we made 40 bags that were distributed on Thanksgiving morning. The whole parish thanks all who participated!

If you or someone you know is interested in finding out more about the Catholic faith, or receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, we'd love to talk with you about the RCIA process. This process provides an opportunity to go on a spiritual journey with other adults seeking to deepen their relationship with God and begin or renew their commitment to God through full membership in the Catholic Church. The program part of the process will begin in a few weeks.
Our Children's Liturgy of the Word program at the 9:30 Mass on Sundays will begin again Sunday, September 16th. If you would like to help out with the program this year, contact Sister Helene, or speak to a committee member. We do need more help in order to support this special ministry. Please consider helping.
Our Faith Formation Programs for children and teens are based on the belief that God calls us "to act justly, to love tenderly and to walk humbly with our God". Our main goal is to help the children know how much God loves them, to help them develop a strong personal relationship with Jesus and enable them to discover the richness of our Catholic faith.
We are looking for assistance with our programs. Sharing your love of God and your faith with the young people of our parish can be a very rewarding experience.
- Do you know a neighbor or friend who has expressed a desire to learn more about the Catholic faith and perhaps, to become part of our community?
- Has your spouse has been thinking about becoming a Catholic and does not know how to proceed?
- Have you been explaining your faith to someone?
If the answer to any of the above questions is "Yes", then you should know about the RCIA - the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
